I had a C# project on my Github account, someday I decided to continue whit this project, add some new features and improve other ones, so I cloned my repository to my local storage, opened my project with Visual Studio and when I hit F5 to check how my project was going on, ¡bam! I found this problem:
An error on my browser says: Could not find a part of the path …. \bin\roslyn\csc.exe
What is it??? last time I opened my project was running well.
Well, Roslyn is the .NET compilation platform that offers advanced compilation functions. Since my project made use of some packages, the compilation was trying to find them, you can see these packages on your packages.cofig file.
So, the solution for this was to run the following command on my Package Manager Console in order to update the packages my application was using:
Update-Package Microsoft.CodeDom.Providers.DotNetCompilerPlatform -r
